I really really dislike it when fleet week comes around, mostly because of the noise those Blue Angel fkrs make. I mean, it’s really REALLY loud, and all these people on the streets play it out like they’re immune to the oppressive decibels. I became much happier the day I stopped caring if I looked silly while plugging my ears with my fingers in situations where an ambulance drives by or something equally loud and obnoxious happens within earshot. It always surprises me that I’m the only person on the street that ever plugs my ears in pain. Anyhoo, aside for my aversion to their loudness, I have to give it to them: they’ve posed for some startlingly beautiful pictures in their lifetime, this shit does look epic.
